Calculation of periods for those registered with the ex IPOST Fund

The institute of the calculation (Articles 10, 11 and 12 of Presidential Decree no. 1092 of 29 December 1973) makes it possible, upon claim and without cost for the applicant registered with the former IPOST Fund, to add value to periods of work for the State, local regional institutions, parastatal institutions or public law institutions and institutes, for pension purposes.

The service is aimed at those registered with the ex IPOST Fund who can claim registration with the General Compulsory Insurance (AGO) or with its replacement and supplementary funds, for periods of work for the State, local regional institutions, parastatal institutions or public law institutions and institutes.

Periods are calculated at the claim of the individual concerned or of their survivors.

The services to be taken into account for calculation purposes must be declared at the time of claim, specifying the periods, status and institutions for which they were provided.

Following the acceptance of the claim, the periods will be credited to the ex IPOST Fund.

The calculation claim must be submitted, by completing the paper form AP102, to the INPS office in charge for the area in question.
