Registration of operating unit

With the introduction of the principle of the uniqueness of the contributory position, the employer must notify the identification data of the operating unit in which the company dependent workers are employed. The registration procedure is described below.

The registration of the operating unit is aimed at employers.

Circular no. 172 of 31 December 2010 explains to employers (directly or through institutional intermediaries) the procedures for notifying identification data of the operating unit where the company dependent workers are employed and possibly also its duration.

Notification can now be performed with a mass upload via an XML file.

INPS has issued the technical document (pdf 130KB) to fill out the XML flow, the validation scheme (XSD) and a brief instructions manual (pdf 386KB).
