Claiming a small loan for those enrolled in the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme

Small loans under Gestione Assistenza Magistrale (Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme) cannot exceed two months' payment and are granted to teachers and school administrators under permanent contracts of primary and nursery state schools only under certain conditions and for specific reasons.

Ex ENAM members (teachers and school administrators of primary and nursery schools) under permanent contract and no less than two years after retirement can apply for small loans under the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme.

START DATE AND DURATION

The small loan is paid off in 24 monthly instalments.

WHAT AM I ENTITLED TO?

The loan amount cannot exceed two months of current payment, including continuous permanent allowances.

1% of the gross amount of the loan for administrative expenses and guarantee fund and interest at the annual rate of 1.50% will be withheld on the amount.

The granting of a new loan requires settlement of any previous loans.

WITHDRAWAL OF BENEFIT

Cumulation with small loans granted by other institutions or by the Unified Scheme of Credit and Social Benefits is not allowed.

REQUIREMENTS

The applicant must be employed under permanent contract for no less than two years and more than two years after retirement and must produce documentation proving the need for the loan, with reference to one of the following reasons:

  • childbirth or adoption of children;
  • own marriage or of children;
  • family death;
  • personal or family severe illnesses;
  • purchase of residence;
  • extraordinary maintenance of residence;
  • existing mortgage for the purchase of the only house owned;
  • personal dental care or dependent family members;
  • transfer of residence;
  • vehicle purchase;
  • university attendance - personal or of the children;
  • non-recurring events due to the particular need of the applicant.

Claims with incomplete documentation are rejected.

HOW CAN I CLAIM?

The claim, enclosing all the required documentation, must be submitted exclusively online according to presidential decision no. 95 of 30 May 2012.
