INPS

Children or orphans of public administration employees or pensioners enrolled on the Unified Scheme for Credit and Social Benefits (Credit Fund), including as a result of Ministerial Decree No 45 of 7 March 2007, and children or orphans of pensioners on the Civil Servants' Pension Scheme, who meet the requirements stipulated by the competition notice, are eligible to attend level I and II master's degree courses, university training courses, as well as equivalent master's degree or educational courses run by foreign universities or schools, authorised by the national higher level education system of the country in which the institution's registered offices are located, to issue academic qualifications.

START DATE AND DURATION

The grant is awarded through a call for tenders published every year online on the INPS website.

Every participating university will simultaneously publish the relevant call for tender for admission to each master's degree/ course that is due to start for the academic year in question on its own website.

WITHDRAWAL OF BENEFIT

Scholarship claims must be submitted by the student applicant before the cut-off dates stipulated for the call for tenders to the specific master's degree/course of their interest, which is announced by universities (the dates of each academic initiative and the associated cut-off date, as well as the course admission requirements, can be found on each university's website. These links are specified in Attachment No 1 to the INPS tender).

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be eligible for the competition, candidates must:

• have an ordinary Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator for their household, valid on the claim submission date. Please note that the INPS does not assume any responsibility if accredited institutions fail to send the certificate online or if there is an error in copying the beneficiary's fiscal code;
• have enrolled, through their chosen university, on the master's degree/university training course for which they intend to claim a scholarship;
• have never worked or be unemployed on the date the claim was submitted;
• be aged under 40 on the date the claim was submitted.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must meet all the requirements stipulated by the university for admission on to the master's degree/university training course for which they intend to apply and must pass the selection tests for admission on to the master's degree/course at their chosen university.

The amount awarded for the grant (scholarship) will be paid by the INPS directly to the participating university.

WHEN CAN I CLAIM?

Claims can be submitted only once the call for tender has been published.

HOW CAN I CLAIM?

The student concerned must submit their claim, one for each chosen master's degree, exclusively online to the INPS using the appropriate service and following the procedures indicated in the call for tenders.

The person concerned must claim to be registered to the INPS Civil Servants' Pension Scheme database, if they have not already done so.
