Extraordinary contribution to members of the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme

The extraordinary solidarity contribution is a financial contribution for those registered with the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme who are in financial difficulties due to exceptional cases.

The beneficiaries of the service are those registered with the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme.

WHAT AM I ENTITLED TO?

The Regulation published in the attachments describes the contribution due for each case.

WITHDRAWAL OF BENEFIT

The contribution is granted on the condition that the event is not covered by an insurance policy or other form of compensation.

REQUIREMENTS

The claim for extraordinary assistance can be submitted when one of these extraordinary events occurs:

  • expenses for travel, accommodation and food related to a serious illness suffered by the beneficiary;
  • expenses for extraordinary maintenance or damages, or thefts related to the home;
  • expenses incurred for on-going assistance to dependent family members;
  • expenses resulting from the death of the dependent child or spouse;
  • expenses resulting from legal separation or divorce;
  • loss of job, placement in wage compensation funds or mobility, of the spouse or child present in the family unit;
  • eviction from the building of residence;
  • foreclosure with regard to the beneficiary.

WHEN CAN I CLAIM?

The claim must be made within four months from the date of the last expense related to the event or within one year of the event that determines the need for the expense.

HOW CAN I CLAIM?

The claim to the INPS must only be submitted online using the dedicated service.
