What is it?
PLEASE NOTE: the registration of beneficiaries through the Access to Welfare Services procedure, which is necessary to participate in the day summer Stay tender, is reserved exclusively for children or orphans and persons treated as such of:
- Civil servants and civil servant pensioners enrolled in the Unified Scheme of credit and social benefits of INPS;
- pensioners benefiting from the Civil Servants’ Pension Scheme.
Entry in the database of beneficiaries alone is not valid for the allocation of the contribution.
In order to be included in the national ranking, in fact, it is also necessary to submit a claim to participate in the call.
The Institute, through the Summer stay call for tenders, grants a contribution to cover all or part of the expenses incurred to attend a day summer stay in Italy from June to September.
Who is it aimed at?
The call is addressed to minors aged 3 to 14, children or orphans and equivalent of:
- civil servants or civil servant pensioners enrolled in the Unified Scheme of credit and social benefits of INPS;
- pensioners registered with the Civil Servants’ Pension Scheme (GDP).
How does it work?
The winners are awarded a contribution covering all or part of the cost incurred to participate in the summer stay.
The duration ranges from a minimum of one week (five days) to a maximum of four weeks (20 days), even if not consecutive.
The contribution is awarded on the basis of the ISEE value of the household, as a percentage of the lower of the maximum contribution, set by the notice, and the weekly cost of the summer stay.
The summer stay must be organised by a single provider, chosen by the applicant for the benefit.
The contribution covers:
- expenses related to the planned recreational and sports activities;
- meal expenses (snacks and lunch);
- any trips and anything else provided for in the programme;
- insurance cover.
The stay must be aimed at the constructive management of the young guests' leisure time during the summer break from school activities.
The summer centre must take place at locations that are:
- compliant with hygiene and safety regulations;
- accessible and free of architectural barriers;
- have a room suitable for the distribution and consumption of single-dose pre-packaged meals.
The centre must also be equipped with:
- fitted and accessible toilets;
- indoor premises;
- accessible green areas;
- first aid unit.
The structure organising the daytime summer centre must include:
- management, educational and auxiliary personnel;
- personnel in charge of the management of young people with disabilities who meet the requirements for carrying out these functions.
Claim
REQUIREMENTS
The competition is open to children aged between 3 and 14 on 30 June.
WHEN CAN I CLAIM?
The claim must be submitted within the time limits laid down in the competition notice.
HOW CAN I CLAIM?
The claim must be submitted online to INPS using the “Welfare benefits portal” service, also accessible from this page, by clicking on “Use service” and selecting the “Welfare benefits portal” item.
To consult the claims referring to previous years, select “One-click welfare portal” instead.
Simply claim the benefit by accepting the conditions set out in the relevant notice.
INPS will automatically verify the satisfaction of the requirements in its databases or at the affiliated institutions.
In the “View claims” section of your reserved area it will be possible to know if the claim has been accepted or not. In the latter case, you may need to enter additional information.
If the beneficiary is not present in the databases, it is necessary to register using the “Access to Welfare Services” service.
This service allows you to view and update your personal data sheet, identifying family members as beneficiaries.
The data will be acquired by the information system and stored in future accesses.
Processing times of the measure
The deadline to define the measure was set at 30 days by the Regulation for the definition of the terms to conclude the administrative proceedings adopted by INPS pursuant to Article 2 of Law no. 241/1990.
The table attached to the Regulation shows both the deadlines for defining the measures established by the Institute that are longer than the normal 30-day period, and the indication of the relative manager.
