What is it?

INPS acknowledges a temporary supplementary allowance to the beneficiaries of the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme or to their survivors, without income or with a total annual family income lower than the amounts established by law.

Who is it aimed at?

The allowance is due to members, or their survivors, without income or with a total annual family income, including any exempt earning, lower than € 10,230, for the members and lower than € 8,530, for their survivors. These amounts are increased by 10% for each dependent family member of the beneficiary, in addition to the claimant.

REQUIREMENTS

The allowance can be granted:

  • to retired beneficiaries with no pension entitlement and with a total annual family income as specified above equal to € 10,230, plus any possible supplementation;
  • to survivors who were already cohabiting and dependent on the beneficiary with a total annual family income, as specified above, of less than € 8,530, plus any supplementation possibly due.

Processing times of the measure

The deadline to define the measure was set at 30 days by the Regulation for the definition of the terms to conclude the administrative proceedings adopted by INPS pursuant to Article 2 of Law no. 241/1990.

The table (in Italian) attached to the Regulation shows both the deadlines for defining the measures established by the Institute that are longer than the normal 30-day period, and the indication of the relative manager.
