What is it?
The New Mutuality Fund, active since 2010, has replaced the Old Retirement and Life Mutuality Funds. Membership is optional and simultaneous registration with the New Fund and the Old Mutuality Fund is not allowed.
Who is it aimed at?
The following persons may register:
- employees of Poste Italiane SpA and all associated companies, already subject to ex IPOST withholding;
- ex-IPOST pensioners.
Claim
The Mutuality Fund regulations (pdf 4.856KB) contain all details relating to:
- registration;
- benefits;
- the liquidation of the subscribed capital.
Registration provides for the subscription of predefined capital to be insured, which makes it possible to establish:
- the monthly fee to be paid;
- the number of benefits obtainable each year.
The claim for registration can be submitted to INPS using the following forms:
- claim for registration in the New Mutuality Fund for employees or pensioners;
- claim for registration in the New Mutuality Fund for a spouse or cohabitant.
The claim must be sent to the address indicated at the bottom of the form.
At the time of registration, a certificate is issued indicating:
- the effective date;
- the subscribed capital;
- the monthly premium share;
- the heirs indicated by the registrant.
Processing times of the decision
The deadline to define the decision was set at 30 days by the Regulation for the definition of the terms to conclude the administrative proceedings adopted by INPS pursuant to Article 2 of Law no. 241/1990.
