Publication: 13 February 2023 Latest update: 17 April 2026

The Family and Parenting Portal is designed to accompany persons throughout the family journey related to waiting for, giving birth to and raising of a child, through services, information and benefits that are accessible in a simple, integrated and personalised way.

The initiative was developed in collaboration with the Department for Family Policies, in line with the objectives of the National Plan for the Family 2025-2027.

The Portal brings together, on a single platform, benefits, services and informational content aimed at parents.

It adopts an approach:

  • proactive;
  • focused on the real needs of families.

From the INPS website homepage, you can access the Portal home page (in Italian) which:

  • provides a brief overview of the available content;
  • reports the latest news on the Institute’s Services dedicated to families.

You can then access the Portal with your digital identity, browsing according to your needs in the thematic areas built around the key moments of parenthood:

  • INPS Services (homepage), dedicated to the Family and Parents;
  • Services of other bodies, to access information and services from other Public administrations and bodies organised into specific areas:
    • administrative services;
    • health and healthcare services;
    • support and guidance for parents, etc.;
  • Becoming Parents, contains three sections dedicated to:
    • pregnancy;
    • birth;
    • adoption and fostering;
  • Growing child, accompanies parents in the growth journey;
  • Family Centres, mapped and geolocated throughout the national territory;
  • Disability, contains information and advice for families with children with disability;
  • Services near me, allows geolocated searching for some Services:
    • family centres;
    • vaccination centres;
    • family counselling centres;
    • pharmacies authorised to administer vaccinations;
    • affiliated public and private hospitals;
    • local healthcare facilities.

The Family Portal, created in 2023 as part of the PNRR initiatives, is now integrated into the new Family and Parenting Portal.
