What is it?
The Contributions Account Statement allows employees of public administrations to:
- consult their insurance position;
- verify the salary data transmitted to INPS by the public administration in which the service was carried out;
- make a more conscious assessment of their social security future.
Who is it aimed at?
It is designed for:
- workers employed by public administrations;
- private workers who have worked for periods in the public sector.
How does it work?
The worker can view their contributions account statement online using appropriate service.
If a worker has worked during periods for private and/or public employers and as a self-employed worker, within the Account Statement will view these different sectors in different colours.
In the Civil Servants’ Pension Scheme Account Statement you can see:
- data relating to service statuses;
- any periods recognised with redemption measures,
aggregation of insurance periods or calculation; - other periods recognised with imputed contribution;
- remuneration useful for pension purposes after 31 December 1992.
The document is informative and not certified, and shows the personal data
of the worker and, summarised in a table, the data for each period relating to:
- the pension scheme;
- the type of contribution or employment contract;
- contributions eligible for both pension calculation and entitlement, expressed in years, months and days;
- increases;
- remuneration eligible for pension purposes;
- administration or employer institution;
- any notes.
The presence of notes in correspondence with a contribution period indicates that the information presented may be subject to further investigation also thanks to the report from the worker, who may submit a Claim to change the Insurance Position (Richiesta di Variazione della Posizione Assicurativa - RVPA).
It is possible to consult the Account Statement and transmit a Claim to change the Insurance Position (RVPA) through the dedicated online service, or by:
- Calling the contact centre on 803 164 (free from Italian landlines) or 06 164 164
from mobile phones;
On-line services offered by patronage institutes and intermediaries of the Institute.
