Consultation of Social Security Information (CIP) for private employees

How to consult the Social Security Information and wage subsidy allowances claims for private non-agricultural employees?

Publication: 11 December 2024

What is it

It is a social security consultation service that provides a more complete overview compared to the Account Statement.

Who is it aimed at

It is aimed at employees in the non-agricultural private sector.

The section on wage subsidy allowances will soon be available for workers in the agricultural sector.

How does it work

There are two sections that can be viewed, also on the INPS Mobile app:

  • one for consulting the data related to the monthly UNIEMENS reports sent by the employer;
  • the other to view Covid-19 direct wage subsidy allowances.

In the first section relating to UNIEMENS monthly reports, workers can check, for each month and for each employer:

  • the name of the employer;
  • the category of contractual framework of the worker and the type of employment relationship;
  • the taxable remuneration for social security purposes, with evidence of any taxable amount exceeding the maximum;
  • the presence and the amount of adjustments made for Family Allowances (ANF), divided into arrears and current;
  • the presence of adjustments made for permits and leave to protect maternity and paternity, which give the title of imputed credit;
  • the presence of adjustments made for periods of illness which give an imputed credit.
  • the presence of accident events which give an imputed credit;
  • the presence of wage subsidy allowance events (e.g. wage compensation fund, FIS ordinary allowance, solidarity contracts) which give an imputed credit;
  • the data declared by the employer for the period in which the employment relationship is suspended due to leave of absence or on secondment for trade union activities. The information relating to the condition of leave or on secondment for trade union activities and the theoretical wage, sent monthly by the employer, is available as of January 2020 and has no certification value.

The research can be carried out for a maximum period of eighteen months, included between the January 2010 pay period and the second month prior to the date of the research.

The information available:

  • can be exported in PDF and Excel format;
  • as a certification value;
  • may not coincide with that in the Account Statement, as the contribution is only entered after checks by the Institute.

If information is found that is inconsistent with that held by the worker (example: part-time contract instead of full-time, different amount of the ANF, presence of events of illness and/or wage subsidy allowances unknown to the worker, etc.), it is possible to report the inconsistency through the INPS Replies channel, accessible in the MyINPS section of the website.

In the “Wage subsidy allowancessection it is possible to check, for each period of interest and employer:

  • data relating to wage subsidy allowances claims with direct payment request related to the Covid-19 emergency sent to INPS by employers, for periods from 23 February 2020, following all processing phases up to payments (Ordinary Wage Compensation Fund, Wage Compensation Fund Granted In Derogation, ordinary allowance);
  • data of the claim:
    • type of service (CIGO/CIGD/ASO);
    • protocol of the claim submitted by the employer;
    • date of receipt and period of the claim;
    • request for a 40% advance (yes/no);
    • 40% advance payment status;
    • status of the claim;
    • individual outcome (for only claims relating to the Solidarity Funds that contain results on the beneficiaries separate from the outcome of the claim);
    • relevant INPS office;
  • payment data, available only for claims with “Accepted” or “Partially Accepted” status:
    • sr41 received (yes/no);
    • payment date (only for “settled” payment status);
    • payment period;
    • payment status.

As required by law, the period covered by the wage subsidy allowance request may not exceed 18 months.
