What is it?
This service is used to submit a claim for redemption of periods not covered by any contributions for inclusion in the Leaving Indemnity for Civil Servants TFS or Severance Indemnity TFR, against the payment of a fee by the claimant:
- for TFS purposes, it allows to increase the useful years for the benefit;
- for TFR purposes, the months or years eligible for redemption are converted into TFS quota which are aggregated with the TFR quota at the year of the claim.
Who is it aimed at?
It is aimed at civil servants of local institutions, regions and healthcare under the TFS regime.
Personnel under the TFR scheme, who, on the date of entry into force of the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 20 December 1999, were employed under a fixed-term contract may claim the redemption of periods of fixed-term work, carried out before 30 May 2000, which did not give rise to the right to registration or have given rise to any type of settlement.
How does it work?
Dependent workers who wish to obtain redemption must pay a contribution entirely at their own expense, established by a coefficient based on the following elements:
- annual payment received when submitting the claim;
- employee's age;
- age of retirement due to age or employment limitations related to the qualification or level covered;
- redemption period granted.

Employees of local institutions, regions and healthcare shall submit the claim to INPS, completed and signed in all its parts, using the dedicated online service, accessing with their own credentials.
