How to view the authorisations of wage subsidy benefits with either direct payment or adjustment payment?
Publication: 13 February 2023 Latest update: 17 February 2023
What is it?
The UNIEMENS-CIG (Wage Compensation Fund) and Solidarity Funds Dashboard is a tool that provides companies, consultants and qualified intermediaries with the detailed data relating to the authorisations of wage subsidy benefits, both with direct payment and adjustment payment, as well as the value of the ordinary contributions payable, for employers registered with the Solidarity Funds, resulting from the UNIEMENS declarations. The service also reports the status of individual complaints, highlighting any anomalies found in dispatching payment flows.
Who is it aimed at?
The service is reserved for companies, their delegated intermediaries and legal representatives.
How does it work?
The entitled parties can access the online service through the taxpayer's Social Security Box in the Additional Data, CIG (Wage Compensation Fund) and Funds Dashboard section.By navigating the Dashboard, individuals can retrieve the data of interest with a search key:
- by company
- by appointed consultant
- by claim -authorisation
- by worker-beneficiary
The "UNIEMENS-CIG (Wage Compensation Fund) and Solidarity Funds" dashboard provides companies and consultants with a ‘window’ on the Institute's information systems from which it is possible to monitor the path of requests claims for wage subsidies, in particular the ordinary and extraordinary Compensation Fund and the Bilateral Solidarity Funds, focusing on the benefit payment phases and the implementation of the worker's insurance account.
The section relating to “Solidarity Funds” allows individuals to verify not only the information on wage subsidies, but also the amount of the contribution due/paid, which will determine the so-called company ceiling, where applicable.
The Dashboard was initially activated for monitoring the management of benefits by adjustment payments (that is, the benefits paid by companies on behalf of the Institute); however, its functionality has since expanded to include benefits under direct payment through UNIEMENS (UNI41), and allows individuals to view those managed by previous systems (model SR41).
Transactions can be traced as soon as the claim for wage subsidy benefits is submitted through online channels. In that moment, the claim is assigned a “ticket” that is visible on the Dashboard, which will subsequently be combined with the authorisation number of the benefit, displaying the data relating to: authorised period, authorised hours, expiry and forfeiture terms of the authorisation, as well as the amount generated and the additional contribution calculated.
The tool also reports the status of individual complaints and immediately reveals any reasons preventing payment of the benefit, highlighting the anomalies encountered when dispatching payment flows with regard to the parameters of consistency, calculation, compatibility and congruity. Users, therefore, have at their disposal all the information necessary to resolve the critical issues and successfully complete procedures for the settlement of benefits, with the consequent updating of the positions on the beneficiaries' insurance account.
