The INPS acknowledges a temporary supplementary allowance to beneficiaries of the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme or to their survivors, without income or with a total annual family income lower than established amounts.
The allowance is paid to beneficiaries, or their survivors, without income or with a total annual family income, including any exempt income, of less than Euro 10,230.00 if beneficiaries and less than €8,530.00 if surviving. These amounts are increased by 10% for each member of the family dependent on the beneficiary, besides the applicant.
The allowance can be granted: to retired beneficiaries with no pension entitlement and with a total annual family income as determined above for €10,230.00, increased by any surcharges; to survivors who are already cohabiting and dependent on the beneficiaries themselves with a total annual family income, as determined above, of less than €8,530.00, increased by any supplements due.

The claim for the supplementary allowance must be made on the specific paper form to be submitted:
- by Certified Electronic Mail (PEC), to: email@example.com;
- by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, to the INPS office - Central Directorate for Welfare Credit and Social Structures - Viale Aldo Ballarin 42, 00142 Rome.
