What is it?

The service is used to claim confirmation of the ordinary invalidity allowance, an economic benefit for those whose capability for work is reduced to less than a third due to mental or physical illness.

Who is it aimed at?

The service is aimed at:

  • employees enrolled in the Compulsory General Insurance;
  • self-employed persons;
  • workers enrolled in Separate Pension Scheme (Gestione Separata).

How does it work?

The ordinary invalidity allowance has a duration of three years.

Recipients, if they continue to meet the necessary requirements, may claim confirmation of the allowance in the six months preceding the expiry date without a break in payment, or within 120 days of the expiry date, via:

  • online service;
  • patronage institutes.
