What is it?
This service provides authorised users, in accordance with specific procedures, with access to the electronic illness certificates issued by INPS.
Who is it aimed at?
It is available to workers, who can view their own electronic illness certificates.
It is also available to employers and authorised job consultants, who can view only the electronic illness certificates of their own workers.
How does it work?
Workers can access the online service to view electronic illness certificates by entering the certificate’s unique protocol number and their tax identification code. Specific authentication is not required for the consultation.
Employers and authorised job consultants can access, view and print illness certificates referring to their dependent workers or dependent workers of the companies that they manage as consultants by using the online service for viewing illness certificates for employers, which can be accessed by entering the company credentials. A variety of different searches can be carried out and the list of illness certificates can also be downloaded.
To check a specific illness certificate, employers or authorised job consultants can also access the service for viewing illness certificates by entering the protocol number of the certificate and the employee's tax identification code.
The service can also be accessed over the phone by calling the contact centre on 803 164 (free for landline calls from Italy) or on +39 06 164164 from mobile phones.
