REQUIREMENTS

In order to be eligible for the contribution, the claimant must be recognised as disabled and non-self-sufficient by the relevant review medical commissions as having a complete and permanent inability to work.

WHEN CAN I CLAIM?

The claim may also be submitted multiple times, with a 12-month interval.

The claim for this contribution is an alternative to the health contribution.

The Institute will only request the aforementioned documentation from the interested party if the recognition of health conditions is based on a judicial decree of approval or if the reports assessing health conditions referred to in Article 1 are not available in the Institute's database.

HOW CAN I CLAIM?

The claim can be submitted to INPS exclusively online by clicking on "Use service" and selecting "Welfare benefits portal".

To view claims submitted before 1 August 2025, select "Portal for Civil Servants' Pension Scheme services (Workers and Pensioners)".

Processing times of the measure

The deadline to define the measure was set at 30 days by the Regulation for the definition of the terms to conclude the administrative proceedings adopted by INPS pursuant to Article 2 of Law 241/1990.

The table (in Italian) attached to the Regulation shows both the deadlines for defining the measures established by the Institute that are longer than the normal 30-day period, and the indication of the relative manager.
