What is it?
It is a financial extraordinary contribution for those registered with the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme who require financial assistance in exceptional cases.
Who is it aimed at?
The beneficiaries are those registered with the Teachers and School Managers Assistance Scheme.
How does it work?
WHAT AM I ENTITLED TO?
The contribution due for each case is described in the Regulation published in the attachments.
WITHDRAWAL OF BENEFIT
The contribution is granted on the condition that the event is not covered by:
- insurance policy;
- other form of compensation.
Claim
REQUIREMENTS
The benefit may be claimed upon the occurrence of one of these extraordinary events:
- expenses for travel, accommodation and food related to a serious illness suffered by the beneficiary;
- expenses for extraordinary maintenance damages or thefts related to the owened home;
- expenses incurred for on-going assistance to dependent family members;
- expenses resulting from the death of the dependent child or spouse;
- expenses resulting from legal separation or divorce;
- loss of job, placement in wage compensation funds or mobility, of the spouse or child present in the family unit;
- eviction from the building of residence;
- foreclosure initiated against the beneficiary.

WHEN CAN I CLAIM?
The claim must be submitted:
- within four months from the date of the last expenditure related to the event;
- within one year of the event giving rise to the need for the expenditure.
HOW CAN I CLAIM?
Exclusively online to INPS, by using the dedicated service.
Processing times of the measure
Claims are reviewed by the committee responsible for examining claims of extraordinary contribution at the end of each quarter of the current financial year, except for those awaiting supplementary documentation according to Article 4, paragraph 5, of the Regulation.
The competent administrative sector liquidates any contributions recognised within one month of receipt of the committee's report.
