What is it?

The service allows the simulation of the calculation of the amount of the Single and Universal Allowance for Dependent Children (AUU).

How does it work?

The simulation is for illustrative purposes only. It is based on the data entered by the user, without running a check in the Institute's databases.

From March 2026, the amounts of AUU monthly payments are calculated based on the ISEE for specific family benefits and inclusion, as introduced by Article 1, paragraph 208, of the 2026 Budget Law.

To determine the ISEE value to be included in the simulator, the user must neutralise the ISEE indicator from the possible amount of AUU received by all the members of the household, compared to the parameter of the equivalence scale of their household.

Consider, for example, an individual with a 2026 ISEE for minors/ordinary ISEE for specific family and inclusion benefits of €25,000 and a 2026 equivalence scale parameter of 2.46.

The total amount paid in 2024 (the second calendar year preceding the DSU) to all members of the household included in the 2026 ISEE is €1,000.

Calculation example

ISEE Value = 25,000

Equivalence scale = 2.46

Sum of AUU payments to be reduced = 1,000 euros

Calculation

1000 : 2.46 = 406.50

25,000 – 406.50 = 24,593.5

In this example, €24,593.5 is the value to enter in the “ISEE Value” field in the simulation to calculate the benefit.
