What is it?
The Visual Account Statement (Estratto Conto Visuale, ECV) is a document that:
- re-processes the data contained in the unified account statement in graphic format;
- summarizes thecontributions accrued by a worker (contributions from work, imputed and voluntary contributions and contributions for redemption) throughout his/her working life, ordered according to the schemes in which he/she was enrolled.
Currently, the following can take advantage of the service:
- workers with contributions paid by weeks to the Employees' Pension Fund(Fondo Pensioni Lavoratori Dipendenti, FPLD);
- workers with contributions paid to the Separate Pension Scheme;
- workers with contributions paid to the Artisans and Traders Schemes;
- workers with a contribution paid to the Public Pension Scheme;
- workers with contributions paid to the following substitute Special Funds:
- Flight;
- Electrical;
- Public transport;
- Telephones;
- IPOST;
- Railways;
- (ex) INPDAI;
- workers with a contribution paid to the (ex) INPGI Pension Scheme;
- workers with a contribution paid to the (ex) Credit Institutes Pension Scheme;
- workers with a contribution paid to the Maritime workers social security and self-employed fishermen Pension Schemes.
How does it work?
Users can view the Visual Account Statement through MyINPS personal area by clicking:
- first on "Social Security Portal" ("Fascicolo previdenziale”);
- then on "Visual Account Statement Consultation ("Consultazione Estratto Conto Visuale”).
Through the ECV, workers can view the contributions accrued during their working life, represented graphically by a timeline that begins with the first day of insurance with INPS and ends with the presumed date of old-age pension.
The timeline presents the various schemes to which the worker has paid contributions, each characterized by a specific colour.
In the event of inaccuracies and errors found in the Visual Account Statement, having also checked the unified account statement, workers can claim rectifications through the tools managing the reporting of information on contributions:
- Claim for variation of the insurance position (RVPA) for those enrolled in the Civil Servants’ Pension Scheme;
- Claim for rectification of contributions statement (for private sector employees and self-employed workers, Special Social Security Funds, Separate Pension Scheme, former INPDAI company executives, Clergy Fund, entertainment workers and sport professionals).
The ECV has no certifying value. To verify that the requirements for pension are met, it is necessary to contact the INPS offices or a patronage institute.
