PEC - Certified e-mail address

Publication: 26 May 2017 Last update: 14 October 2026

On this page you can consult the lists of the INPS Certified E-Mail addresses.

If you have a certified e-mail account, you can send an e-mail via your PEC account to the Institute’s PEC addresses; a message can only be considered as certified e-mail if both the sender’s and the recipient’s e-mail accounts are certified.

The system that manages certified e-mail is set up in order to only allow communication with other certified e-mail systems and to not allow normal e-mails to be received; a normal e-mail sent to one of the Institute’s certified e-mail addresses will be rejected by the system and an error message will be sent to the sender.

Use of certified e-mail to serve court documents

Certified e-mail (PEC) accounts for the service of court documents may only be used in accordance with Law No. 53/1994. By express provision of law, the following documents must be served exclusively on the addresses of the relevant local offices and not on the address of the General Department: initiating documents in proceedings on the merits, writs of execution, attachment and seizure orders, initiating documents in civilian invalidity proceedings, as well as judgments and any other decisions issued in such proceedings.
