Programma Visitinps scholars

Pubblicazione: 25 maggio 2021 Ultimo aggiornamento: 24 giugno 2021

  • promuovere l'uso dei suoi archivi amministrativi;
  • incoraggiare la collaborazione tra ricercatori;

VisitINPS scholars project

The Italian social security institute (INPS) has launched its "VisitINPS scholars" programme. INPS compiles Italy's richest data archives on the Italian social security system, pensions, labour market, income support measures and more generally on welfare related issues.

The VisitINPS scholar project aims at making available to international scholars the entire INPS archives. A VisitINPS scholar is an international social scientist interested in welfare related issues and willing to spend a few months in Rome at INPS's headquarters. Applicants for the VisitINPS Scholars position should present a research project on one of the broad topics (pdf 114Kb) identified by the Scientific committee or on another subject related to "Strategic Research Areas" regarding labour market and welfare issues.

In the application the candidate should state whether or not funding from the programme for the accommodation in Rome or the research itself is require (chosing between one of the positions: fellowships, scholars type A or B).

The 2015-2016 VisitINPS Scholars programme is managed by the Scientific committee and benefits from the financial support of a number of Universities, Financial Institutions, Foundations, private companies and research institutes, whose full list will be made public by the end of October 2015.

The research results will be freely accessible through the INPS's website and could be published as INPS working paper. The scholar and the research group will retain their right to publish their research on scientific journals.
